Pinned topicIs there a list of Power SUSE linux versions supported by IBM?

I recently had a ticket with IBM support on a partition of SUSE Linux on Power we have. We got it done but they did say:
Thanks...we don't have a SLES 11.1 machine (it's actually out of support) but I checked the relevant stuff on 11.2...
where can I get a list of what versions are supported?
Is there some sites like:
Thank you. That's a good link. That does show minimum Linux levels for various hardware levels.
I wonder if that might be different than what IBM support is thinking of. I wonder if this is more of a software level thing. I wonder if they saying that "Yes, that level of SUSE Linux may be what the minimum level of Linux was when that hardware came out, however, there have been a number of fixes, etc in subsequent versions of Linux that we really feel that you need to be on a more current version to get IBM support".
Much like V4R1 may be the minimum level of IBM i for a particular iSeries but IBM only supports V5R4 of IBM i and above now, and support for V5R4 ends 2013-09-30.

Hi Rob, thanks for clarifying. That does seem like quite a bit of digging for you to do. We'll take another look at what we provide in the IBM information, and see if there is a way to clarify the distro end-of-support dates.
Rob, We defer to the operating systems to state what versions are supported and their product lifecycles. I've updated the page to clarify that the listed distros are those supported by the hardware. I also added links to the distro product lifecycle pages. Thanks for pointing out the confusion in the page.
