Pinned topic Firmware upgrade : accept terms

‏2013-12-23T17:35:11Z | accept firmware terms upgrade

Hi,

I upgraded the firmware from 4.0.2 to 6.0.0.3.

I followed all the instructions provided here (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27015333)

Now, I can see the box is upgraded to new firmware version.

BUT ,when I go to system control - I still see "I accept the terms of the license agreements."

Even though, I have accepted it and rebooted the box.

Now, that might be there, for future firmwares, I have to upgrade.

But is there a way to know that "I have accepted the terms of the license agreements" ?

The checkbox is there for future upgrades.  You were "grandfathered" into this one.  Just don't forget to check it on your next upgrade.

There is nothing for you to do.  When you go to upgrade from 6.0.0.3 to your next firmware version, you will download the appropriate scrypt file, upload it to your appliance, and then click the Accept Terms checkbox before booting up on the new firmware.

Unless you are locked out of the appliance or otherwise cannot configure domains and services, you're probably worrying about nothing at all.
