Pinned topic Faceted search on specific value of multi-value property

‏2014-05-08T15:01:32Z |
Hello everyone,
using Enterprise Search, I am crawling a FileNet P8 object store for particular documents that belong to a class with a multi-value property (called "countries" with values like "US, CA, UK, FR, ..."). For the documents that belong to this class, I would like to use the individual values in that multi-valued property in a facet called "Countries" so that I can e.g filter all documents that contain the country value "CA".

The facet would then look something like this:

Country Facet

US

CA

UK

FR

By default, the Enterprise Search product just concatenates all values in the multi-value property to one string, so that it looks e.g. like this:

Country Facet

US CA UK FR

Is there an elegant way to enable faceted search by individual multi-value property?

Thank you very much for any hint,
Christoph

    Hi Christoph,

you maybe can use field filters to split that field by space.
This is accessible in administration under the edit button for "Parse and Index" part of desired collection and options "More..." -> "Fields filters".

    Hope that helps.

    Regards
