Pinned topic Spell check user dictionary

In the Eclipse client, turning on Spell Check works great!

The problem is that when adding words to the user dictionary I can't figure out where they go or how to remove a word.  In the spell options, there's a line to add a .txt file for your user dictionary but that doesn't seem to work.  I've been able to add words before defining a .txt file.  When I do define a .txt file and add words to it, it doesn't seem to affect anything.

So -- Where do those words go and how do I remove them and/or troubleshoot user dictionaries?

Thanks for your help!

Mark

    Hi Mark,

There is not a way to remove words from a user dictionary.  The user dictionary is created in <user home>/.Rational/ClearQuest/rcp and is called userDictionary.dic.  The only way that I know of to remove words from the dictionary is to delete the dictionary and let it be re-created, removing ALL the custom entries

The only preferences that are used for ClearQuest spell checking are under ClearQuest/Spell Check.  The preferences under General/Editors/Text Editors/Spelling are not used.

    Hope this helps.
