Pinned topic DEBUG TOOLS: Converting a Sysdebug file to a Listing file

‏2013-05-23T08:26:56Z |

Hi

I know how to create a langx file from a listing file.

Is there a way to create a listing file from a sysdebug file?

Since we are about to start creating sysdebug files, we want to check if it is possible to stop creating and keeping listing files.

Eran.

A utility program, IDILANGP, is provided, which can be used to create a readable listing from a Fault Analyzer IDILANGX side file or a SYSDEBUG side file generated by using the COBOL TEST(,,SEPARATE) option. This might be useful if side files, rather than compiler listings, are kept in order to conserve DASD space, as the utility program is able to format the side file in a way that resembles the original compiler listing.
