Pinned topic Craeting COM Applications with Rhapsody

‏2013-04-16T13:18:26Z |

We want to develop COM applications using Rhapsody in C++. I remember that there was a profile or something but I can't find it. Neither is there something in the help files that is useful. Can somebody give me some more information?

Kind regards

Walter

    Walter,

I too wanted to do this a couple of years ago.  Rhapsody used to support COM but doesn't anymore. They didn't make a very good job of removing the evidence (or documenting the removal) since there are still lots of COM related properties scattered about.

In the end, I created an ordinary library in Rhapsody and a COM executable in Visual Studio 2008.  The exe just called library functions implemented in Rhapsody.

    Good luck!

I wasn't experienced with COM at all so I found this helpful :-
