Pinned topic GRANT to a user with special character does not work

‏2014-05-22T14:21:41Z |

Hello,

I'm trying this grant from db2cmd:

DB2 GRANT DBADM ON DATABASE TO USER B-123

Unfortunately, DB2 returns an SQL0104N. I've tried with user ABC which works fine, so I think DB2 has a problem with the special character in the username.

What can I do?

Thanks in advance for your ideas.

Benjamin

    Try this:  save

    GRANT DBADM ON DATABASE TO USER "B-123";

    to a file grantdbadm.sql, and run it with db2 -tvf grantdbadm.sql

    Thank you so much, works perfectly.
