Pinned topic Excel Adapter Issue in ITX 9.0.0

‏2019-05-06T17:01:47Z | excel itx m4excel

I am trying to use Excel adapter and generate a .xlsx file output from the map.

My map is working fine in design studio. The excel file is created as per the template. However, I am having issues executing the map in ITXA inside Sterling B2Bi.

The translation service doesn't throw any error, but the output excel file is not generated by the EXCEL adapter. It doesn't generate any m4excel.mtr either when -T option is used.

I am using below rule: (It works fine when the map is executed in design studio! )

=PUT("EXCEL","-TEMPLATE "+Text[5]:GetFromProcessData+" -FILE "+Text[7]:GetFromProcessData+" -WRKSHEET Sheet1 -T",TEXT(ExcelMetadata))

ITX4IS version installed on both server and local design studio is same --> 9.0.0(21)

I enabled dtx.log file for JNI trace. It shows below warnings..

I am guessing the issue is because ITX4IS in the server is not able to locate the required jar files during excel generation. Do we need to set path variables for this?

For generating Excel output file, Do we need to have Microsoft Excel installed on the server too?

Any help on this will be much appreciated..
