Is below command supported as valid OS command to reduce CPU consumption for PVU calculation?

echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu4/online

    What can you propose instead?

    Hi Wat,

    I believe we are talking about Linux OS, so to limit processor cores please use e.g. such technologies as

    • maxcpus parameter in GRUB 

    or

    • disabling cores in BIOS.

     

    Additionally, please remember about the following pages where Sub-Capacity rules are explained:
