Pinned topic ClearCase cleartool how to list the current foundation baseline?

‏2014-08-11T22:13:30Z |

Hello,

Appreciate any help on ClearCase cleartool how to list the current foundation baseline. My company SCM/ClearCase team confirmed I did the foundation baseline change correctly. It shows correctly in ClearCase Project Explorer->Int Stream Properties->Configuration tab. My company uses ClearCase Project Explorer 7.1.2.7 . I doubt my company would submit a PMR for this issue.

I have tried several cleartool commands. First lsbl -l baseline@\pvob will list the change set but not including any foundation baseline. Second lscomp -tre component_containing_foundation@\pvob will list the initial foundation baseline with the derived baseline listed indented but does not put the derived baseline under the current foundation baseline. Hypothetically it appears as:

initial_foundation_baseline baseline

    derived_baseline_stream stream

    first_baseline baseline

...

    baseline_derived_from_new_foundation baseline

new_foundation_baseline baseline

Whereas if lsbl actually showed the new foundation baseline correct me if wrong seems would instead display as:

new_foundation_baseline baseline

    baseline_derived_from_new_foundation baseline

Thx in advance, Mike

The foundation baseline is a property of your stream. You can do for example:

    cleartool lsstream -fmt %[found_bls]p -cview

    HI Mike,
Use the below command which lists the both both madifiable and non-modifiable components.
    cleartool desc -l project:<nameofproject> @\<PVOB name>
