Pinned topic RAD/HATS 9.0 Problem

‏2014-01-28T15:19:19Z |

Hi,

When I try to open any template JSP and CSS file, the RAD/HATS gives this NullPointer error (see the image attached). This is very serious issue with the RAD I guess, could anyone here help me out on this. IBM should take a note of it. My environment is Windows 7 Professional, RAD 9.0.1, HATS 9.0, Running a project on WPS8 on WAS85 which is loaded from RTC server.

    Dear Rafay,

I am using the following product versions and it is working fine for me. I guess there might be issue with Windows 7 Professional.

Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3
IBM Rational® Application Developer for WebSphere® Software Version: 9.0.0
BM Rational Host Access Transformation Services (HATS) Core Version: 9.0.0

    Thanks

    Hosh

I don't know what exactly you are doing to see this exception; however, you mentioned you are running with RAD 9.0.1 and we have not tested or claimed support for RAD 9.0.1 and HATS yet.  I believe the RAD 9.0.1 fixpack was just recently shipped. My guess is this is a RAD studio problem and you may want to open an issue with that team.

    Thanks
