Pinned topic Rdp has any specification, that it can open files with only a certain type of extenstions?

Hello all,

My project has some configuration files apart from source code files. Those configuration files have extension *.cdf

When I tried to open them in RDp(say config1.cdf), It gave following error

Config1.cdf  Application not found

I clicked ok. Another error box popped up with following message

Problems opening an editor.

Reason: Problem opening an editor for 'config1.cdf'. Unable to open an external editor for config1.cdf

Is this as per design? Can RDp open filenames with varied extension? Or is there some property which we can set to define these extensions ot RDp. I want these files to be opened as regular text files.

    Got it. Thanks to a fellow developer from RAD:-)

    Windows -> Preferences -> General -> Editors -> File Associations ->

    You will see lots of files which are already defined. To add another one, click add. In File Type, write cdf. Click ok. Click Add in Associated Editors, Select Text editor. click ok.
