Hi All,

There's a place to put cachespec.xml out of ear/war file in Websphere Liberty Profile as in full WAS profile ? A liberty application server properties directory to put a global cachespec.xml file ?

Thanks in advance,

Gabriel Knepper Mendes

    Hi Gabriel,

In liberty the cachespec.xml file has to packaged within the application, either in the WEB-INF or META-INF location.  The cachespec.dtd file that defines the structure and elements for cache spec.xml is in dev/api/ibm/schema.

We try to confine all configuration to the server.xml (or included files) or within the application.  If you think it would be useful to define server-scoped overrides for application cachespec.xml files in the server.xml please open a requirement at this link: https://www.ibmdw.net/wasdev/help/submit-rfe/

    Regards, Alex.
