Hi!

Anyone know if there are any limitations for allocation of memory and cpu to a partition in AIX?

What limitations do you mean? The granularity of resource allocation (fractions of a processor, etc.) or the size of an LPAR?

If you mean the size of an LPAR then there's not really any limits, virtually speaking though. However there's of course the physical limitations of commercial available hardware and some other practical limits set in AIX, but chances that you might hit those limits are probably not that high.
