Pinned topic Load balancer issue

‏2014-02-10T18:29:22Z |

Did anyone face this issue? I'm facing this issue only when there's too much going on the server, like many scheduled jobs running at the same time.

Please help.

    Hi Kaustav,

    1. Are you having one single dispatcher or multiple dispatchers?

    2. If you're having multiple dispatchers, it'll be a good idea to isolate the issue to some certain dispatcher(s) by turning them off one by one and see if the errors still occur. If you find a dispatcher that is causing this problem, you will have to check its configuration.

    3. In either case it'll be worth adding an additional dispatcher and monitor the performance. Can also play around with the dispatcher settings as explained here: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/cognos/infrastructure/cognos_specific/page510.html

    4. This also sounds like a good candidate for a new PMR to be logged with IBM if the problem persists

    Good luck!

    TT
