Are you thinking that i didn´t google before post it here?

if i´m posting it here is because i didn´t found in google search a solution to fix it.
I found an IBM APAR to fix a bug solving these problem. I applied this but problem persists. So, i´m here, posting mu problem.

Sorry, but  your answer is regrettable. It´s a collaborative forum.

    Thanks.

Yup, sure was thinking that, you'd be horrified what stupid questions get posted here!

OK, respect, you did your homework.

Time to call IBM and raise a PMR then.

There is really only one rule here - be nice!

OK. i´m considering that you live in a perfect world and every client have IBM contract support to open PMR. You need to know, out of your closed box world have a lot of customer without IBM contract support, and, to open an PMR it´s really expensive.

So, in this specific case, it´s easier to do an update using alternate disk or common direct TL update.

And, i´m using this collaborative forum to share the problem that i had and see if someone has answer.

please, do a favor for me and other members inside this forum, if you don´t have answer for some forum questions, stay quiet and don´t answer.

        Thanks.

            Not heard back.

You did do the obvious google and consider the APAR that seems to be very close to your problem?

You do not state whether it is installed or applicable to your oslevel. which it seems you did not state.

Please feed back for other members to gain experience from your problem solving.

              The APAR is IV04840.

I create an test LPAR, restore an MKSYSB with AIX 6.1. Update then to TL6 ( Directly on AIX ) and did the follow tests:

              1) I Created a Multibos in AIX 6.1 TL6 without APAR
              Result: The same error

Symbol time64 (number 39) is not exported from dependent module /usr/lib/multibos_chroot/usr/ccs/lib/libc.a(shr.o).

              2) Applied APAR and created a Multibos
Result: No problem to create a Multibos, it´s OK. But at AIX Boot i receive 0517 LED.
FIX: Have a manual fix returning to original BOS boot and fixing diferences in /etc/filesystems.

              3) Apply TL7 and create Multibos
Result: With AIX 6.1 TL7 No problems Was found. I create multibos, set bootlist to boot on multibos and restart. everithing is OK.

              4) Create Multibos from AIX 6.1 TL7  and update then to TL8
Result: No problems was found. I reboot and everything is OK. after boot my AIX was updated.

              thanks for your help :)
