Pinned topic ICA Studio 3.0 install Windows 8

‏2014-01-03T16:25:01Z |

I'm getting the following installer error:

The installer cannot run in this UI mode. To specify the interface mode, use the -i command line option, followed by the UI mode indentifier. The valid UI mode identifiers are GUI, Console, and Silent.

Where do I find the autoexec batch file to modify?

Unfortunately ICA Studio 3.0 does not support Windows 8.

    Best regards.

I found we could get it to work using the Install troubleshooting feature and selected Windows 7 install.  That fixed the problem.

With regard to the install program, does it default to the c: drive for the install and what is the minimum amount of disc space necessary?

I've got another machine with Windows 7 that goes through the motions of the install but the program can't be found.  No error messages are returned but there is no install.

The default install location is C: drive but you can change the location with the installer.

I think 2GB disk space is enough to install.

    Thanks.
