Pinned topic DSM - Error retrieving data?

‏2016-09-01T20:56:53Z |

Hey Guys,

Wondering if anyone else has run into this issue, I seem to find after X amount of time I always get this error?

Error retrieving data
Verify that the database is running and that it is accessible and try the connection again.

Details

"ALERT.CHILD_FLAG" is not valid in the context where it is used.. SQLCODE=-206, SQLSTATE=42703, DRIVER=3.69.56

I notice it more frequently when trying to access the Alerts or Job section, as we have had other issues where daily job schedules have not been running consistently.

TIA

Please refer to http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEPEK_10.0.0/codes/src/tpc/n206.html to check the error code return from DB2 to find more clues.

    Hey Larry,

Thanks for having a look. I did a last ditch effort of scrapping everything install + repository DB and starting from scratch.

I have had no errors since then, so I'm guessing something went wrong in the initial repository setup.

    Cheers

    Hi there,

I cannot reproduce your problem in my env, i guess you need to raise a PMR to track your issue.

    Thanks Larry
