Pinned topic How to call from once service to another service

‏2013-04-24T07:41:22Z |

Hi,

I have two services in that one is client facing service, if we get any request to this service need to call another service which is listening on same ethernetcard.

For example http://1.1.1.1:2700/hello this is client facing service on IP 1.1.1.1, this service internally need to call another service that is http://1.1.1.1:2800/helloHelper

1. Do I need to use directly second service URL as mentioned above?

2. Do we have any other approach to call 2nd service because both are configured on same IP and local to same domain and box?

Thanks in advance

Sri

You can just specify "http://1.1.1.1:2800/helloHelper" as "backend" for 1st service.

Or you can have a results action with target "http://1.1.1.1:2800/helloHelper" in 1st service.

Or you can call the 2nd service in a stylehseet by:

    • dp:url-open
    • dp:soap-call
