Pinned topic IE 10

‏2013-06-27T12:46:46Z |

Has anyone tried Web Query with IE 10 yet?

As we are stuck on v5r4 for quite awhile, do you know if the 1.2 version will work with IE10?

Thanks,

Bob

Hi Bob - Sorry for delay. The older versions (anything prior to 2.1) no longer go through browser certification testing so we will not be officially supporting this combination. However,  several on the development staff have IE 10 installed and are using it against Web Query 1.1.2 - and have reported no issues.

Bottom line: should work, but if something does not, then issue is probably not going to be addressed and the recommended resolution will be to move up to 2.1.

I had a ticket open with a user receiving a new 64 bit PC with IE10. We can't get the pull downs to work.

By the time I got to her, they had rolled her back to IE9.

No plans to go IE 10, but am curious whether they were on a 32 or 64 bit OS.
