Pinned topic Nagios CPU entitlement and pool monitor available

‏2014-07-11T12:13:03Z |

Hi all,

I wrote a Nagios monitor to be able to check for various entitlement usages in an AIX shared CPU pool environment.

One can monitor the entitlement usage inside a LPAR, the usage of the configured CPU pool and the CPU usage of the whole managed system.

It's plain C and compiles with IBM xlC and GCC.

I think about making this small project public if there is any demand. So please make a comment if you're interested.

Is there any prefered way of how to publish such things?

Best regards,

armink

Ok, here we go... the easy way:

Please find the software attached to this posting.

Check README and INSTALL for details on how to compile/run the monitor. I included some pre-compiled binaries which might or might not work in your environment.

Feel free to give any feedback either in this thread or via email (see README)

    Regards,
