I'm wondering if there is a set size for the stack for each version of TM1 or if it's just dependent on memory?  I'm running into a situation described here (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21457414)  which I can probably work around, but it would be nice to know how many times can a recursive rule is allowed to evaluate itself before it goes *BOOM.*

The knowledge article gives no indication of how many calculations can be performed... it's just hit-or-miss.

    The size of the various stacks is fixed in the code but is not documented.

      That's frustrating :(  I really started noticing this in a model that I was building for personal use, but I've seen this pop-up in a few other models. 

      Although I was thinking that working around this issue would be relatively straight-forward by using some of the suggestions in the IBM post, I'm seeing that that is  not the case.  It appears that there may be more involved in resolving the issue.  The only option I can really see now is to use a T.I. process to update cells (eg. iterating through all the cells so that an OPENING value equals a previous period CLOSING value)
