Pinned topic Difference Between SCAPMUI and Jazz for Service Management?

‏2014-04-23T13:32:00Z |

Hello All,

Thanks for your response in advance.  I would like to know the difference between the two products in breif and why one product would be used (Jazz for SM vs. SCAPMUI) instead of the other.

I have both installed and can see the difference GUI wise and the configurable aspects of the products with Jazz being more robust.

Is Jazz for Service Management the total solution and SCAPMUI some watered down version for a certain product set?

I sure would like to know because I get customers asking me what's the difference?

Thanks,

Gregory Mendes

You can integrate both products and have SCAPMUI launched from Jazz for SM. More information on:

I am at a customer that would like a view of their application status for management, preferably available on an iPad. Should they use APM UI or Jazz for SM? Is Jazz for SM as easy to configure as APM UI?

APM UI has KPIs for many ITCAM/ITM agents ready to use, so in your case the shortest way is use it.
