Pinned topic PowerSC Trusted Firewall VLAN issue

‏2014-07-24T09:08:09Z |

Hello,

I have PowerSC Trusted Firewall installed and I'm seeing the followng:

vlantfw -d

vlantfw: /dev/svm dump dynamic learning IP and MAC: count: 8
 0: vid: 1459 pvidflag: 0 addr:   10.66.151.170   mac: d6:ea:4c:d1:36:a
 1: vid: 1358 pvidflag: 0 addr:   10.66.151.202   mac: 46:9:0:0:0:c
 2: vid: 1358 pvidflag: 0 addr:   10.66.151.203   mac: 46:9:0:0:0:f
 3: vid: 1358 pvidflag: 0 addr:   10.66.151.204   mac: d6:ea:4d:d5:6f:a
 4: vid: 1358 pvidflag: 0 addr:   10.66.151.250   mac: d6:ea:4d:a2:e0:a
 5: vid: 1359 pvidflag: 0 addr:   10.81.250.86   mac: d6:ea:40:c6:f6:b
 6: vid: 1355 pvidflag: 0 addr:   10.66.151.10   mac: d6:ea:41:3b:d1:a
 7: vid: 1356 pvidflag: 0 addr:   10.66.151.74   mac: d6:ea:45:f9:5c:b

I want to be able to telnet from 10.66.151.204 to 10.66.151.74.

As you can see these are on separate VLANs. I run the following command:

genvfilt -v 4 -a P -z 1358 -Z 1356 -s 10.66.151.204 -S 10.66.151.74 -p 0 -P 23 -c tcp

I receive:

Bad VLANID number "1358".

My SEA adapter has a VLAN device for each of the VLANs shown above.

So now I don't understand as VLANID is fine. It's shown in the discovery list.

Any suggestions on why I'm seeing this message?

Thanks

Glenn
