Anyone else noticed that in 9.5.1 an export to Word from a view containing DXL layout does not always show the layout text? Looks like if the layout text ends in a newline character the export ignores the text. So far, changing the layout to make sure that it never allows the text to end with newline seems to fix the problem. Also, export to RTF or Excel seems to still work OK.

Just ran into this issue again with an export of a view for the customer where, due to a stray newline character at the end of the object text in one object (which was being displayed in a DXL column with other information), the text of that one object did not export. Bad thing is that it occured only for that one object in the middle of an export that was 140 pages long and was not noticed before it was sent to the customer, who later came back wondering why the text was not included.
Installed the DOORS 220.127.116.11 client, still the same problem persists.
Anyone at IBM looking at this ?
Would rather not have to modify all of the layout scripts in all of our projects.

I have a nagging memory from years ago where such a problem was resolved by converting to attr-DXL. Also nagging was some kind of "Paragraph Style" attribute fix.
And, IMO, attr-DXL is superior to layouts in all but the rarest situations.

Is there a way to reproduce this problem?
Thanks for your help.
