Pinned topic DS4700 Cycle reboot

‏2014-06-02T08:01:40Z |

Hello All!

I have DS4700 and it worked fine, but some time ago I switched it off it becouse I needed to do some works in my server room. And after I witched it on it seems to some kind of cycle controller reboot, pings can reach the DS only for 5-15 sec, and then it goes down for same time, and so on... On the diagnostic display during these reboots I see codes 85, F5, EA, but I cant find nothing about this in documentation. Please help :)

I tried to take off all HDDs from the storage and after that I succesfully connected to storage via the storage manager. But when I inserted disks back the storage managel lost connection.

You need all drives and enclosures on power on state (all enclosures) and all D4700 drives inserted before you power on the controllers.

If this fail, you should open a support call with IBM.
