Dear Team,

I want to install WebSphere Application server on SAN drive on HP-Ux server.When Node1 of HP-UX server fail then WAS service will be automatically start from Node2. Kindly do the needful.

    Hi, This is a perfect example to use clustering and not worry about Node 1 if it fails.  In most cases WAS cannot be installed on a shared mount point because the WAS configuration is specific to that Node.  If you want to fail over to Node 2 then you need a product that will fail over the NIC address and configurations. You can use products like HP's Service Guard or Veritas, among others, to do the failover for you.  If Node 2 has the same configuration as Node 1, like IP Address, hostname, etc, then you will only need to start the App Servers.
