Pinned topic How to Prefix the outstream file with a String and Todays date.?

HI
In Compute Grid's xJCL
How to Prefix the outstream file with a String and Todays date.?
I only know xjcl allows only Appendfilename property
Is there any other property similar to that which can prefix the outfile
Thank you
Murali.

    If it's a static value then you could use define a variable in substitution property and use it in the outputfile property. You can't dynamically submit a value like today's date.

    I do something like below, I have 3 substitution properties defined in xjcl and use them for building my output file name.

    <prop name="FILENAME" value="${root}${input_directory}${outFileName}" />

    I also had a requirement of dynamically building filename based on date and other fields but current version of CG doesn't support it.

    Thanks,
