    I don't remember getting that.
    Do you have triggers?
Also, what command do you run, and what says lsview -l for a view giving this error?

Not very clear... Do you mean that your command is the plain:
    ct lsview

...and that you get only one error?
I assume you have several views in your region?
Then, it comes in relation to one particular view?
Now, we cannot be sure the error comes before, after, or instead of the tag output, but it should be easy to check, by trying to reproduce with only one view tag, and checking the candidates one after another, e.g.:
    ct lsview foo

Then, you could try, using the view tag producing the error:
    ct lsview -l foo

This is what I was asking: what does this return? Please, the exact transcript, not a vague description!

Sounds like your view is corrupted or misssing the uuid. I'd check the /var/adm/rational/clearcase/rgy/view_tag file and look for that tag. If the uuid is missing your best bet is removing the view tag and recreate the view, or you can try "mktag -view -replace" option if you know the view storage is in good shape.

It may help to run a registry check to find any inconsistencies in between your registry files.

    Windows:

    <ClearCase install dir>\bin\rgy_check.exe -views

    Linux:

    <clearcase install dir>/linux_x86/etc/rgy_check -views
