Pinned topic BC-H / Nortel 10G How to propagate all vlan to all blade ports
We've more than 50 tagged vlans and we still continue to create vlan.
Can I configure the BC Nortel 10G switchs to simply propagate (ie as a hub) any tagged vlan (or a range 10-1000 of vlan) to the blades ports without creating each vlan on the switch ?

You can copy the switch running-config to a TFTP/FTP server, edit the configuration using a text editor, adding your tagged vlans and then copy the edited config back from your TFTP/FTP server to your switch. You'll see that the config file is very straight forward and easy to understand.

It is possible.
Please try to find "easy connect mode " for IBM System Networking•ssh to each EN/CN4093•boot the EN/CN4093 to use isCLI (Cisco-Like CLI) for a more familiar look•/boot/mode iscli•/boot/reset•Set the following commands to convert the EN/CN4093 into "Transparent Mode"•ssh to each EN/CN4093•enter into enable mode (e.g. enable)•enter into configuration terminal mode (e.g. config t)•type the following;===========Begin Script ===========spanning-tree mode disableportchannel 1 port ext1-ext10 enablevnic enablevnic vnicgroup 1vlan 4091port inta1-inta14trunk 1enablefailoverexitwrite memory===========End Script ===========
This is more for EN/CN switches for Pure Flex system , however you can use this also for this switch.
Please change only port names. You can also changed portchannel configuration to LACP if you are using it on external switches.
Please be also aware that in such mode in each vnic group you can specify only one external uplink ( can be physical port or LACP or portchannel )
Hope this will help you
