We have a base DS4700 that having
Number of drives: 5
Supported drive types: FC
Total hot spare drives: 1
Capacity: 146 GB, current data rate 2 GB/s, 15K RPM
Now we would like to add more 6 HDDs 600 GB, FC, 4GB/s, 15K RPM into DS4700. And the current controller firmware is 06.23.05.00. So it will be OK if we perform to add more 6 disks which is different capacity with existing disks, then create an other array on them which contain 5 disks into RAID-5 group and 1 hot spare to protect that array, next create some logical drives on that new array to map them to existing Host Group. Please kindly help us!

The link you provided that means we should upgrade firmware to 7.60.xx version first. So what path should I do a upgrade while current version is old 6.23.05.00?
