I have a requirement to enable/disable a button based on whether the target computer has websphere mq client installed?
I am using .NET and talking via MQ.NET classes.
Is there any API/command that will help me to trace/track which version of websphere MQ client is installed at the destination computer ? Although registry is one option, i would want to have a check whether any another approach is there? Thanks in advance.

IBM significantly changed usage of the Windows Registry in recent versions.
