We are using extreme scale v8.6.0 on top of WAS Liberty Profile. We have agents (OSGI enabled) running on multiple containers (10+) backed by individual liberty server instances. Currently we are copying all the updated jars under "grids" directory container by container.
is there any configuration in server.xml (xsServer element), where we can specify external "grids" location outside of a specific liberty server(container) instance. Essentially to share single "grids" directory by multiple containers, so that we can copy jars once per cluster.

Re: Multiple Containers on Liberty Profile sharing single “grids” directory2013-03-29T18:09:41Z in response to SystemAdminHi Vasu,
There is not currently any way to configure a different "grids" directory from the server.xml. This sounds like a nice feature request.
However, it should be possible to use symbolic links to point each server's grids directory to a universal directory.
Hope this helps,
