Pinned topic Content Assist for Primefaces JSF-Library fails RAD v8.0.4.2 iFix1

‏2013-03-27T07:11:39Z |
After the update from RAD v8.0.4.1 to RAD v8.0.4.2 iFix1, the content assist for faclet tags of the primefaces JSF library (/Web-INF/lib/primefaces-3.5.jar) is not working anymore.
The jsf faclet, jstl tags and the composite components are found with content assist.
As far as i know the taglib.xml should be found in the jar#META-INF when the jar is in the classpath but it seems that it is not found anymore.

We use JBOSS tools and we have added the primefaces.jar to the library set but did not help.
We have switched to Default JSF implementation provided by WAS.
We have added the WAS as the target runtime. We did not add it as the target runtime because of libraries within the WAS installation which interfered with our tests, we use was_public only.
I have created a new blank dynamic web project and it did work there either.

Is there a way to register the JSF library ?

I do not know, if it can be applied with JBoss tools, but there is a fix available from IBM for this issue. We had the same problem, we opened a PMR and received the temporary fix. Do not know, which version update of RAD will this be included in.

These are the APAR lists for RAD that you can check

You can also check this known APAR -
