My env is :
32bit Windows2003 + 32bit DB2 V9.7 + Optim 8.1 fp2
Create Optim Directory successfully, but when creating DB Alias, at "Connect to Database" steps, it gives out "Invalid DBMS DLL Version"

Re: Invalid DBMS DLL version2013-03-25T14:07:27Z in response to sbjerryHello sbjerry,
I have run with DB2 v9.7.5 and DB2 v9.7.7 and have not had any problems. I have to admit though that I have not run with Optim 8.1.0 FP2, I am running
with the most current fix pack .... would you be able to upgrade to FP05?
Also, in these kinds of cases .... the PR0TOOL.xxx or PR0SVER.xxx (server) traces are very helpful to see where the problem is...

Re: Invalid DBMS DLL version2013-03-25T14:09:15Z in response to sbjerryHi,
If you'd like to connect to DB2 z/OS in EBCDIC, you need to install DB2 V9.7.5 or later on Optim machine. Even if you don't connect to DB2 z/OS, I recommend DB2 V9.7.5 or later on Optim machine.
