Pinned topic how many capacity can v3700 support?

‏2013-03-24T14:02:35Z |
Dear All,

I checked the document, and found that v3700 can support up to 120 disks and the max capacity is 3TB NL-SAS.

Can v3700 support 360TB (120*3) capacity?

Thank you for any input.
Dennis

    Hi Doctor,

    Thank you for reply.

I checked the redbook and found 180 TB is the limit.
Do you have any idea about disks combination of 180TB?

    Thank you,
    Dennis Dai

There's only one combination that adds up to 180 TB.
    • 12 drive slots x 5 enclosures x 3 TB drives = 180 TB.

You need to re-read Chapter 1 of that redbook. It's all there. Pay attention to the "Form Factor".
    a.k.a. 3.5 doesn't fit in a 2.5 hole.... and vice versa.... 2.5 doesn't fit in a 3.5 hole..... err I mean slot.
