Pinned topic Merging Two Datawarehouses

‏2013-03-21T13:10:55Z |
We have two ITM data warehouses (one that was created specifically for the TSM Monitoring). I'd like to MERGE the two by taking the data from the TSM Monitoring Warehous to our main Warehouse. Do I just export the tables created by ITMUSER and import them into the other database? Do I need to do anything with the Indexes?

The best approach is to use the TDW schema tool to create the SQL scripts that can be run to create the tables in your new Warehouse Database:

    http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/tivihelp/v15r1/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.itm.doc_6.2.3%2Fitm623_install668.htm&resultof%3D%2522%2574%2564%2577%2573%2563%2568%2565%256d%2561%2522%2520

This will create everything needed(indexes, etc.) so that then you can import the data from your other database into the new tables.
