Pinned topic buliding extended search

‏2013-03-13T16:10:12Z |
How I can extend the search feature to add criteria's properties from sub or parent folders (from all the the folders that have a hierarchical relation )?
Example:
FOLDER A
Prop a
----FOLDER B
Prop b
----FOLDER C
Prop c

I want for example to get all the entities from folder B when prop c=XXX?

Another example:to get all the entities from folder C when prop a=yyy?

How can I combine a document/folder query together?

Search document or folder where prop=zzz?
How can I make a free sql typing query ?

You can already do that in the existing Content Navigator search form. Limit the scope of the search to a selected folder and or class, and then enter a class property value.

    Hi

Our goal is to locate folders or documents Via property values of the parent Class or child/sub Class

    example No1:

Folder Class "A" has a Property named: "Color"
Folder Class "B" has a Property named: "Size"

Using Content Navigator we Created Two new Folders called: "Project X" and "Project Y" ( as an instance of Class "A")
Within Folder "Project X" we Created a new Folder called: "Mission 1 "( as an instance of Class "B")
Within Folder "Project Y" we Created a new Folder called: "Mission 2 "( as an instance of Class "B")
Project X Property "Color" is " blue" Project Y Property "Color" is "Red"
Mission1 Property "Size" is "10" Mission2 Property "Size" is "20"

We want to select all "Mission" Folders ( class "B") That their Parent "Project" Folder ( class "A") Property Color = "blue"
The expected result should be "Mission 1"

    example No 2 :

Using the same Classes & Properties, this time we want to select:

All Project Folders (Class "A") that their Child "Mission" Folder ( class "B") Property "Size" is "20"
The expected result should be "Project Y"
    example No 3 :

Using the same Classes & Properties,
we added Ten documents (pdf files) to Folder "Mission 1" (1.pdf, 2.pdf, 3.pdf Etc..)
we added Ten documents (pdf files) to Folder "Mission 2" (11.pdf, 12.pdf, 13.pdf Etc..)

    we want to select:
All PDF Documents That their Parent "Project" Folder( class "A") Property Color = "blue"
The expected result should be PDF Documents (1.pdf, 2.pdf, 3.pdf Etc..)
    Thank's !

    Yoel
