Pinned topic Exit cobol Program Z

‏2013-03-13T10:01:45Z |
Hi
is it possible to modify other column than the one where we have the exit coded?
ex:
_ £XX__LIBCDPCMNPTT CH(32)
_ EXIT L5XDB1P
_ £XX__CODPAY_FR_NUMERO CH(3)

is it possible to modify £XX__LIBCDPCMNPTT thru the same exit?
Thanks for you help

    Hi,

An exit has access and can modify data only for the column for which it has been specified in the Column Map.

But one could possibly devise some logic, using the provided exit work area, and having the exit(s) specified on both affected columns to modify multiple column values.

Let me correct myself: the exit HAS access to all columns at all times. It can only modify the value of the column on which it was specified.
