Pinned topic Problem with ADO, Solid6.X and UpdateBatch

‏2013-03-11T18:35:10Z |
Hi,

We are trying to insert about 100 rows inside transaction with UpdateBatch-method. Everything works fine BUT after insert every second inserted row in db is dirty. Content in varchar columns is always blank. Not null but blank. This test case every varchar column should contain same data. Not blanks at all. Only in varchars and every second row is like that. We have tested that data before insert is ok by saving it to file. File contains identical rows, just id-numbers keep changing. if we manipulate file like change id-values with each other it makes same change in db after insert. Every second row contain blank varchar-fields. If we use “normal” insert it works fine. Problem is that we are upgrading dbengine and one row in one transaction is too slow.

    Hi,

Is it possible to get more detailed information on this? For example an ODBC trace or a test program would help us to reproduce the problem. You can also contact support with a bug request.

    Regards,
    Jarmo
