Pinned topic How to automatically set report output file name

‏2013-03-11T15:01:26Z |
Dears,

I have a report which takes some parameters(prompts). What I want to do is when I save the report output file(pdf, excel), the output file name is the parameter value user inputed to run the report.

I think without coding, this is not easy to implement. But I am not sure SDK or java script is able to do that?

Thanks,
Ricky Ru

    if you want to save output file in file system, you can use Archive function

    ArchiveOptionString aos=new ArchiveOptionString();

    aos.setName(ArchiveOptionEnum.filenameStub);

    aos.setValue("TestReport");

    runOptions[2] = aos

    The detail you can follow this
