I have a customer complaining that their Oracle Database (11.2) infrastructure run under West European (WE8ISO8859P15) character set, and to match FileNet P8 AL32UTF8 requirement they would need to create a new dedicated Oracle server (with additional costs).
So, my questions are:
1 - Is it possible a Oracle 11g Database system with a restriction to new databases with AL32UTF8 character set ? For example, a instance-level configuration ?
2 - Is there any scenario where a non-AL32UTF8 database could run FileNet CE with no issues ? Would issues limited to UI display or core functionality ?

Re: FileNet CE - Oracle Database character set requirement - AL32UTF82014-08-18T10:50:31ZThis is the accepted answer. This is the accepted answer.
So, that customer agreed with a new Oracle Database / SID with the UTF8 requirement, since CE would run with unexpected behavior and no IBM support.
