Pinned topic Contained model in portal link does not work if sending argument

‏2013-03-06T23:39:34Z |
Can someone explain to me why the linktoPage2 does not work in a contained model if I include a value in the input mapping? This works fine in wasce standalone. This does not work in wps 6.1.5 or wps 8.

Contained/container models are supposed to be "powerful". But every time we try to use them we keep running into issues when running on the portal server.

Thanks.

I haven't had time to try this myself, but after a quick glance, one suggestion is using submit form and invoke action instead of link to action so that it doesn't have to insert the argument into a portal URL.

      I hope that info helps,

I need to understand why its not working. You are suggesting that anytime I need to create a link it needs to be wrapped in a form?

        Thanks.

I opened a ticket and was suggested to install fix pack: WEF-8.0.0.2 - This seemed to resolve my issue.
