    Hello,

There is nothing preventing you from installing GPFS/Windows without a domain. However, being a distributed filesystem, it requires user SIDs to be the same across all the nodes so that the ACLs allow for same user rights on all the nodes. You will not get that in a WorkGroup setting.

How many nodes are we talking about? Are there any Linux/AIX nodes in the mix? For a single Windows node without Unix in the mix, you could do without a domain. For multiple Windows nodes, the "domain-less" option will require you to fix the ACLs of all files (allow access to user SID from every node).

    Best.

    Hi

We are talking about 4 Windows 2008R2 servers running some application - i think with only 1 user (which is the application user).
