I've upgraded IBM RPT to 8.3, when I'm trying to run the schedule in my local machine (in Schedule Element Details-> Locations, choose "Run this group on the local computer"). I got the following error:
Agent localhost not ready, time of last contact: No successful contact
Check Agents Failed
Can someone please advice what caused this? Many thanks.

With version 220.127.116.11 there is a ten second timeout that can occur triggering the check agents failed before the agent is running. One answer is to just try running again.
If it seems like a persistent and annoying issue another answer is to install the RPT Agent product alongside the workbench. If the agent is running it shouldn't try to launch another and you should no longer get the check agents failed message.

Whenever we open RPT on our local machine, at that time only Agent also started automatically.
Please check the options in the user groups
location of the schedule run....
and then restart the RPT..... its may be work
