Pinned topic Duplicate Object Properties for HTML.HTML Document

‏2013-02-26T22:15:12Z |
Hi,

In one of my Application, When i click on Execute Button, it shows a pop up asking where to open and save the executed file. (Attached the Screen shot1).

I have to click Open and then click on Save. Even the Open and Save look like buttons, they all have the same Object Properties. i am not able to differentiate them to click. When i give the Screen coordinates, it is not working everytime. Attached are the Properties which are same for both Open and Save buttons (Fig 2 in the Attachment).

When i have the same Properties for 2 buttons, other than coordinates, what should we do to?
Script does'nt click thorwing an error "exception_message = CRFCN0527E: Found 3 instances of the same test object. This often happens when multiple instances of the application are running."

Please help me understand this.
Thanks

    Did you try using getActiveWindow() method using Iscreen or Iwindow interfaces.

    Ex -

    IScreen runTimeScreen=getScreen();
    IWindow runTimeActiveWidnow=runTimeScreen.getActiveWindow();
    runTimeActiveWidnow.activate();
    comboBoxcomboBox2().click();
    chooseFileToUploadwindow2().inputChars(filePathName);
    openbutton2().click();
    sleep(2);
    clickSaveButton();

    Sorry just attaching the screen shot: Please look at it.
    i have to click on Open first and then Save in the popup window.

    @Hari: Can i use GetActive Window for these type of windows also,? where it asks you to open or save , please see the attachment

    @cagin : When i manually hit the Enter key , it is not opening the document, as the focus is not in the window.

    Please let me know if you more details of the problem, thanks for your kind suggestions.

    I solved this is with some java cde.

    For ( TestObject t : htmldocument.getParent().get children() )

          If ( t.getProperty(".title").toString().equalsIgnoreCase("whatever title") )

          {

                 CloseButton.click();  //  or whatever code you want to do in this window

           }
