Pinned topic Bladecenter S Server Connectivity Module - How to enable Jumbo Frames

‏2013-02-18T23:02:59Z |
Hi All

I have looked through everything in the browser interface and CLI and can't find any reference on how to enable Jumbo frames (MTU 9000) on the relevant switch ports. Does anyone know how to do this? I have searched Google and can't find anything, however according to the product description...

  • Support for Ethernet jumbo frame formats (up to 9 Kb per frame)

It supports jumbo frames.

Anyone know how to set this up?

Regards

Rob

    Hi Rob

Did you find how to enable that?

We have a Switch BNT L2/L3 the specs says it supports jumbo frames, but we can not find how to enable.

    Thank you

    Arturo

    Hi Arturo

The above request was for an IBM Server Connectivity Module, not the BNT L2/L3 switches. I found out that the SCM supported jumbo frames by default, so didn't need to be configured specifically for it.

I don't know anything about the BNT switches, so can't help you there.
