Pinned topic Where did SQLLIB go for Mac

‏2013-02-18T21:57:21Z |
I installed DB2 Express-C, V10.1 on a Mac Pro running OSX version 10.8.2.

The install went without a hitch, but when I looked in the User Instance userid, there was no sqllib. I looked all through the machine, but no SQLLIB. I found, in /opt/ibm/db2/v10.1, what appears to be what should be in a standalone SQLLIB directory.

Is this new for mac, osx 10.8.2, or did I make a mistake during installation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Did you run the db2icrt command? The directory sqllib is created in the instance owner home directory as a part of the instance creation.

When I run the db2icrt from within the /instance subdirectory, I get the following error message: dyld: Library not loaded: /db2unix/db2galileo/db2_galileo_darwinport/darwin64/s120905/install/lib/Darwin_64/libdb2ure2.dylib
      Referenced from: /opt/IBM/db2/V10.1/instance/./db2icrt
      Reason: image not found
      Trace/BPT trap: 5

      Please help.
