Pinned topic Securing Web Services - WC6

‏2013-02-14T22:09:57Z |
I have published couple of Web Services. Also, created the Apache axis clients for the services. The service URL looks like:
https://192.11.22.46:8009/webapp/wcs/services/Foo/FooService. The clients needs to set the property 'javax.net.ssl.trustStore', before invoking the service call. (I copied the server certificate and imported to a client trust store file). Everything works fine. How to protect this service using userId/password (authentication)?

Is there a way, without changing Global security policy? Thanks
