    Hi,

Please try stopping/starting console and see if it corrects the issue.

    $BIGINSIGHTS_HOME/bin/stop.sh console

    $BIGINSIGHTS_HOME/bin/start.sh console

    If problem persists, please attach

    $BIGINSIGHTS_VAR/console/log/console.log

    Thanks,

        Hi,

I consulted about this issue with one of the developers.

Based on the stack trace, looks like the application does not exist on HDFS anymore.

        There are two possibilities:
        1) It is either the the application was undeployed, or
        2) The file permission of the app is not readable by the launching user.

Can you please check if the app is deployed, and try logging in with a different user (e.g. biadmin)

        Thanks,

        Zach

Again thank you for your help. It's also a problem trying to undeploy applications. I'm sending you the screen capture of the error reported in the browser and the log in console-web.log.

      Hi,

Are you logging in to Web Console as BigInsights Admin user (e.g. biadmin)?
      Thank you,

        Hi,

One other thing we have noticed. Your cluster is using localhost (hdfs://localhost:9000/...) instead of the actual hostname / IP address.
We think, that this config may be causing the issue.

If this is a test system, please uninstall/reinstall the system by specifying correct host/ip.

This technote has steps on how to cleanly uninstall the product.
        http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21593340

Also, make sure system is using static IP vs dynamic. (see #5 at http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/bigins/v2r0/topic/com.ibm.swg.im.infosphere.biginsights.install.doc/doc/install_prepare.html)

        Thanks

Reinstalling solved the problem. You were right about the static IP.

    Thank you.
